Customer
Cibes Lift Vietnam is a premium home lift brand specializing in genuine imported elevators, distinguished by their Scandinavian design and adherence to Swedish and European quality standards.
In 2015, Cibes established its first office in Hanoi with the aim of introducing its screw-driven home lift line to the Vietnamese market. Leveraging strengths in technology, design, and safety, Cibes targets customers looking to enhance their living spaces with modern, luxurious elevator solutions suitable for townhouses, villas, and renovation projects.
Throughout its development in Vietnam, Cibes has identified the online environment as a crucial channel for building brand awareness, reaching customers with genuine needs, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Background
Before partnering with SEONGON, Cibes had already implemented SEO strategies. However, results fell short of expectations due to the highly technical nature of the home elevator industry, the lengthy customer search journey, and intensifying competition on Google.
For a high-value product like a home elevator, customers rarely make a decision after a single interaction. They require extensive information regarding suitable elevator types, operating technology, installation costs, safety standards, construction requirements, warranty and maintenance services, and brand reputation.
This meant the Cibes website needed to do more than just achieve high rankings; it had to serve as a source of information that was sufficiently in-depth, trustworthy, and persuasive to support customers throughout their decision-making process.
Cibes set the following objectives for the SEO project:
- Develop a comprehensive keyword set to expand brand visibility on Google.
- Optimize website health metrics through SEO efforts.
- Secure Top 10 rankings for 70% of priority keywords.
- Increase organic traffic and drive higher actual conversions.
Challenge
At the project’s outset, SEONGON identified several issues with the Cibes website that were directly impacting its SEO performance.
First, the existing content lacked consistent optimization. Some articles lacked depth, failed to clearly demonstrate expertise in the elevator industry, did not adequately meet user search intent, and were not fully optimized according to SEO standards.
Second, the website suffered from technical errors—such as 404 broken links—which disrupted the user experience and hindered search engine crawling capabilities.
Third, the website had previously been compromised by malware; this was a critical issue for a brand requiring a high level of trust in a sector involving high-value products like home elevators.
Fourth, although certain keyword groups held decent rankings, organic traffic growth was not commensurate. This indicated a need for a more systematic content expansion strategy rather than focusing solely on primary keywords.
For SEONGON, the challenge with Cibes was not merely about “pushing keywords to the top,” but rather restructuring the SEO foundation to enable sustainable growth in rankings, traffic, and conversion rates.
4.1. Comprehensive Website Audit and SEO Foundation Handling
SEONGON began by auditing the entire website to identify bottlenecks hindering growth. The audit process focused on three main groups: content quality, on-page factors, and technical errors.
Low-quality articles were categorized for appropriate action: removed if they no longer held value, or improved if they still possessed potential to serve users and support SEO.
This approach streamlined the website, reducing thin content, duplicate content, or content that failed to meet the correct search intent. Concurrently, retained content was upgraded to be more in-depth, clear, and informative.

4.2. Enhancing Content Quality with an Expert Approach
In the home elevator industry, content cannot stop at just describing products. Readers need clear explanations regarding technology, structure, costs, installation conditions, safety features, and suitability for different types of construction projects.
Therefore, SEONGON focused on optimizing existing articles toward:
- Adding useful information for those researching home elevators.
- Standardizing headings, titles, meta descriptions, and internal link structures.
- Clarifying the role of the Cibes brand within each content piece.
- Optimizing images to boost brand recognition and credibility.
- Bringing articles closer to a 90% on-page checklist.
The goal was to ensure each article was not only “SEO-compliant” but also read as though it were shared by a team with technical expertise and practical experience in the elevator industry.

4.3. Resolving 404 Errors and Optimizing Internal Navigation Flow
Broken 404 links were audited and handled case-by-case by SEONGON. For URLs with corresponding pages, the execution team redirected them to the appropriate destination. For internal links that no longer provided value, SEONGON removed or replaced them to ensure a seamless user experience.
For a website in the engineering and construction sector, smooth and reliable functionality is critical. A broken link not only impacts SEO but can also diminish customer trust during their research into a high-investment product.

4.4. Boosting Hotkey Rankings and Expanding Traffic via Broad Topic Coverage
After core keyword groups progressively achieved positive results, SEONGON noted that the room for traffic growth remained substantial.
Instead of focusing solely on direct hotkeys, the deployment team expanded into related topic groups aligned with the customer search journey. These content groups allowed Cibes to engage users at an earlier stage, right when they began researching elevator installations for houses, villas, or renovated properties.
Expanding topics helped the website increase its Google footprint, capture more organic traffic, and gradually build trust with customers before they entered the consultation phase.

Result
After more than a year of implementing a comprehensive SEO strategy, Cibes recorded significant growth:
- 100% of key keywords reached the Top 3 rankings.
- Organic traffic increased nearly fourfold.
- SEO-driven traffic saw record growth compared to the previous period.
- Organic traffic accounted for 16% of total conversions, making it the second-largest source of conversions, trailing only paid advertising.

The project results demonstrate that for a sector characterized by high technical complexity and a long purchasing journey—such as the home elevator industry—SEO is more than just a traffic-generation channel. When implemented with the right strategy, SEO serves as a foundation for building trust, expanding brand reach, and directly contributing to business growth.
The Cibes case study exemplifies SEONGON’s approach to comprehensive SEO: starting with foundational improvements, upgrading content quality, and optimizing the website experience, followed by scaling growth through keyword and topic strategies aligned with actual customer search behavior.
